  • The program cost will be a maximum of $4880 (before scholarships)

    This includes:

    • all scheduled events and activities

    • housing

    • any group meals in Paris

    This doesn’t include:

    • Your flight

    • Texas Tech Tuition for 2 classes

    • The Study Abroad Fee

    • day-to-day costs in Paris

  • The Department of History is so supportive of our program that they are offering scholarships of at least $1000 to each student who commits to the program. You do not need to apply for this scholarship, but you will need to write a thank you note to the donor in order for funds to be added to your student account at the beginning of Summer I

  • The Office of Study Abroad runs a competitive scholarship program for all TTU students applying through their office. This scholarship is separate from the Department of History Scholarship. Students should apply for both! The Office of Study Abroad scholarships should be a minimum of $500 each, so it is definitely worth your while to apply!

    The deadline for these scholarships is February 5.

    You need one letter of recommendation from a professor as part of the application process, so ask ASAP for this letter in order for your application be complete.

    Additionally, the Department of History awards scholarships at the end of every Spring Semester, which are disbursed in the following Fall semester. This could offset the cost of your trip considerably!
